The GMC is the right arm of the government & offers no protection for patients, & the welfare of Drs is pretty low on their agenda. It should be operating under the Medical Act 1983, but has veered away from this. Inviting HC workers who haven't studied medicine onto the register

Last year @gmcuk approved 33 PA courses despite the course content not aligning with the @rcgp and @RCPhysicians guidance.

Since then , only 13 courses are left . The remaining courses don’t align with the royal colleges or @lengreview recommendations .
