Former Spain and Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos in a recent interview about the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
“I love Messi, yes he’s a genius,” Ramos said. “But him and the Argentine squad were really playing dirty in the final. The game and the officials were clearly supporting Argentina. They tried as much as they could to rig it, just like they did in the 2022 final. Thank God the Spanish team is different we rose above it and deserved the win.”
When pressed about Argentina’s controversial match against England earlier in the tournament, Ramos doubled down:
“The Argentine squad should have been suspended and stripped of their world titles after raising that flag and Enzo’s celebration. FIFA overlooked everything. There were so many calls that were not credited. It’s unfair. But I'm glad they lost".
🎙️🚨Spain coach, Luis de la Fuente:
"I often use Cristiano Ronaldo as an EXAMPLE for my players and to express my admiration for him."
"HE IS A ROLE MODEL FOR EVERYONE, YOUNG AND OLD." 👑
🚨 Marc Cucurella responds after Messi tried to get him sent off for covering his mouth
🎙️ Reporter: “Marc, what happened in that exchange with Lionel Messi?”
🗣️ Cucurella: “I was just telling him they have zero shots and don’t plan to attack. I didn’t even realize my hand was near my mouth — I moved it straight away.”
🗣️ Cucurella: “He didn’t need to act like that. It was childish.”
🗣️Cucurella: "And that's something we've seen from him before. Whenever things aren't going his way, he looks to influence the referee and turn decisions in his favor. We've seen similar controversies before—including against Egypt. I wasn't surprised at all."
🚨🗣 Egypt's Coach Hossam Hassan after Argentina lost the world cup final:
"If you notice, they tried their best to rob Spain but it didn't just work, they canceled Nico Williams goals for a foul they wouldn't have canceled if it was Argentina"
"I am very happy Spain won because they were the better team and they won over corruption. Football won today"
Tonight at a shopping mall , I watched a 5 year old boy ask a little girl if he could hug her because he liked her sweater. She said, "No.” He smiled, "Okay! I like your sweater. Bye!" and ran back to his dad. To his dad, he proudly said: "I didn't hug her because she said no... but I told her I liked her sweater!" His dad replied, “Cool, buddy!" ...and they went on shopping.
If a 5-year-old boy can understand consent and respect a "No," then so can every adult
🚨 Mohammad Salah: “For me, Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest of all time. He won all his trophies and awards without any controversy or cheating. I think the upcoming generations should look up to him instead.”
