Factory orders thread:
After falling by 1.9% in the prior release, new orders for manufactured goods jumped 1.8% from $542.5 billion in November to $552.5 billion in December. Durable goods orders jumped 5.6% in December, buoyed by sizable increases aircraft and parts.

CVS is being sued for asking customers to donate to the American Diabetes Association when they check out. Those donations are in fact *not* sent to the ADA, but instead reimburse the CVS for a legally binding obligation of $10M that CVS promised earlier
