Two women - Noorjahan and Shainbiya Bibi have been named in FIR for allegedly pouring fish-cleaning waste and water on a Navratri annaprasadam (food distribution) event in Hyderabad's Sainikpuri area.

One of the accused Noorjahan was arrested by the police.

The restraint shown by the Hindu community, despite this alleged incident, reflects their tolerance. At the very least, let people celebrate their festivals in peace and dignity.

This photo is from Khajuraho’s Javari Temple in Madhya Pradesh.

In 2025, a man filed a petition in Supreme Court seeking the restoration of a beheaded idol of Lord Vishnu at this temple. However, the then CJI BR Gavai declined the petition.

He could have simply said that the matter fell under the jurisdiction of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). But the CJI went on to say "Go and ask the deity itself to do something now. You say you are a staunch devotee of Lord Vishnu. So go and pray now".

Now, one year later, in 2026, the ASI has found the missing head of the idol and initiated the restoration process.
