यह है पूरे मामले का सार।

2023 से पहले की गाड़ियाँ E20 compatible नहीं थीं — लेकिन डाल भी दो, कोई टेंशन नहीं है।

हमने मुफ्त के शौक में 2023 के बाद पार्ट्स बदल दिए, और अब नई गाड़ियाँ E20 compatible बना रहे हैं।
ये अब मैनुअल और पेट्रोल टैंक पर लिखा भी होता है।

लेकिन ये सब हमने फ़ालतू में किया है।

वैसे 2023 से पहले वाली गाड़ियाँ भी बिल्कुल सही हैं।
हम तो बस मज़े लेने के लिए upgrade कर रहे हैं।

और हाँ, E10 वाली गाड़ी में E20 भी डाल सकते हो।
(तो फिर जिस पर E20 लिखा है, उसमें E40 भी डाल सकते हो?)

और अब उखाड़ भी क्या लोगे, जब हर पेट्रोल पंप पर E20 ही मिल रहा है।

Insurance में कोई समस्या नहीं है, लेकिन E20 की वजह से हुए नुकसान का insurance हम नहीं देंगे।

The Government told the Supreme Court that E20 ethanol blending is still an experiment and clearer results will come next year. If that's the case, why are millions of vehicle owners expected to use it today, especially when many older vehicles weren't designed for E20?

1. **~0%**. E85 requires flex-fuel vehicles (FFVs). Only a handful of new models (e.g. recent Maruti WagonR FFV) can use it. Mass adoption years away.

2. **~20%**. Only vehicles sold post-April 2023 are E20 material compliant. Most of the 2011-2025 fleet (~80%) is not.

3. **Majority (~70-80%+)** of on-road vehicles are neither E85 nor fully E20 compliant.

E85 launched today (5 Jun) at select pumps for FFVs only. E20 is now standard nationwide.
