Over the years, I’ve learnt this the hard way:
Long weekend → Stay home → Explore local places without the crazy traffic.
And when you actually want a vacation, take a day off and turn a normal weekend into a long weekend.
Better experience. Lesser crowds. More reasonable prices.
Sometimes, one day of leave can make a much better vacation.

If social media is where politics is being shaped, weekly numbers suggest the ground is shifting. @DataBeings
The fear of lower Auto sales needs a little context. Sales spiked last year after GST was cut, so year on year Sep sales would look a little weird because of a base effect. Here's some charts of the sales numbers (domestic), from a chat conversation.
It's not quite that bad a monsoon as it seems to be, at least for 2W (Which is very rural focused)
Note: our fund may have positions in the stocks below, this isn't a recommendation or advise. Just data.
Domestic Auto sales under pressure this month, not a good sign
Bajaj auto stock down 6% today after a 9% YoY decline in domestic sales in September
M&M Stock down 3% after company saw a 21% YoY drop in tractor sales this month
Royal enfield sales see single digit growth of 8%
Escorts tractor sales down 17% YoY
Can a man and woman truly be friends without an iota of sexual attraction? Point isn't if they confess or act on it. Point is ... If you spend regular time with someone, isn't it a guarantee you'd fall for them?
This is probably the most engaging LinkedIn profile I have read! :) Most people update their LinkedIn profile once, and then tend to it piecemeal: add the relevant details of the last job when they move, tweak a line here, add something there, and move on. Of course, there's no 'right' or 'wrong' way - it's whatever works for you. This one feels very different, though.
It feels like Chandan sat down one fine day, looked at his entire career holistically, and decided to tell a larger story rather than document a series of jobs. How do I guess that? Look at the note under his Marketing & Training role at Futures First: "Hired one person during this stint who I will be working for in a few years". Then go to his Classplus role: "The guy I hired in 2012 now hires me and gives me my first CXO role". That's not how you normally write a LinkedIn profile. That's someone connecting dots across a career.
And the whole thing reads like Chandan is having a conversation with a reader who cares enough to go through it all. There is humor, vulnerability, luck, failure, ambition and coincidence. The less glamorous stretches (the 10-month career break, the Global Sales Head–Dining role at Zomato that he describes as a "dull period", etc.) are almost as interesting as the highs: working with Hrithik, Katrina and others, getting the Zomato role, building new businesses, becoming a CXO.
That's what makes the profile really interesting. It isn't really a résumé. It's a career narrative. This is the kind of profile that rewards exploration. On a normal LinkedIn profile, reading older roles is mostly archaeology. Here, reading about older roles gives you new context for newer ones. The reader discovers the callback between Futures First and Classplus. That's almost a narrative device.
I genuinely don't think I've seen another LinkedIn profile quite like this.

I just saw this video. People are giving mixed reactions on this regarding the security and obviously the awkwardness.
Firstly, “Rahul ko nahi pata tha” is FALSE. No one can come in his close proximity without the approval of CRPF.
Secondly, Bhaiya knew that Pulkit would come but he was unaware of the act and hence the genuine reaction.
I don't even publish blog content for some of the brands I do SEO for.
It's a waste of time.
Here's an example of one of those brands:
3x increase in organic traffic in 6 months.
All going to Product Category pages.
Instead of writing blog content each month...
I write content to place on the 50+ Product Category pages I built that target long-tail, transactional keywords.
For example:
The brand sells wood stoves.
So I built Product Category pages targeting keywords like:
- small wood stove
- indoor wood stove
- cast iron wood stove
- modern wood stove
As soon as I place content on a Product Category page and build a few backlinks to it...
It ranks, and generates traffic and revenue.
It's a much better SEO strategy than spinning up 4-5 blog posts a month that ranks and generates traffic...
But no revenue.
My 2026 SEO + GEO Checklist
(Use this to rank on Search + LLMs)
1. Foundation
→ Own a category in your space: "the best [category] for [purpose]". Put it in your homepage H1 and title tag
→ Let AI search bots in (robots.txt): OAI-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot
→ On Cloudflare? Check Security Settings > Configure AI bot policies. Blocking "Training" there can block Googlebot too
→ View source (Ctrl+U) on key pages. If the content isn't in the raw HTML, AI crawlers can't see it
→ Import your site into Bing Webmaster Tools from Search Console and turn on IndexNow. Bing feeds Copilot and ChatGPT
→ Write 20-30 buyer questions (no brand names). Run them weekly w/ the Cloro API
Good: Best [keyword] tool for [purpose]
Bad: is [brand] good?
2. On-Page
→ Google the keyword first. Match the format the top 5 use
→ Answer in the first 2 sentences of the page, and of every section
→ Write every H2 section to make sense copied out alone. Use the name, not "it"
→ Add stats with named sources, and quotes from named experts
→ Publish something only you have: your data, tests, screenshots
→ Tables for comparisons, numbered lists for steps
→ Answer the follow-ups. Pull them from People Also Ask and Bing's grounding queries
→ Put what you sell, who it's for, and the price in plain text on the page
→ Add schema that matches the visible page. Test it in Google's Rich Results Test
→ Refresh stats, prices, and screenshots when relevant
→ Most importantly, don't publish AI slop content
3. Off-Page
→ Pull every URL AI cites for your prompts. Pitch, partner or pay to get on them
→ Google "best [your category]" and pitch every list you're not on (nearly 1 in 3 third-party citations we track)
→ Earn mentions, not just links: podcasts, expert roundups, journalist requests
→ Point links at the pages you want cited. Page 1 rankings feed AI Overviews
→ Make a YouTube video for each money keyword
→ Ask every happy customer for a review on Google, Trustpilot, G2 or Clutch
60-Second SEO: This is the most common issue we see with FAQs.
Loading them through JavaScript and click events causes them to be invisible to both Google + AI search engines.
Here's how to audit this using DevTools:
SEO News: Google Search Console just added a new "Multimodal" filter to the Performance report.
Opening the Search type filter now splits the "Web" option into two: Text-based and Multimodal.
Google's definition: "Web-multimodal tracks search results triggered by a query that uses an image, photo, or screenshot. Text-only queries are tracked as Web text-based."
In practice, that means you can finally isolate discovery coming from:
• Google Lens
• Circle to Search on Android
• Image uploads to Google Search
• The Chrome right-click "Search this image" option
One important caveat before you get excited: there's no query data for multimodal traffic. Google's own docs say the queries dimension isn't available for this search type (even though there is oddly a column for it), because these searches use images rather than text. So you'll see impressions, clicks and positions – but not the actual search queries.
Why it matters: visual search has been unclear in GSC until now. If your business lives on products, packaging, screenshots, plants, parts, artwork, or anything people point a camera at, this new report gives you a better idea of the size of this channel.
Check whether the filter has reached your property – it's rolling out gradually, and I'm now seeing it for several accounts.
Is multimodal traffic already showing in your Search Console?

Read your competitor's 1-star reviews on Amazon.
That's where buyers tell you exactly what they're afraid of.
Turn every recurring complaint into an ad : Take wireless earbuds:
"Fell out of my ears mid-run" → "Stays put through a full 10K."
"Battery dead by lunch" → "12 hours on a single charge. Tested, not estimated."
"Caller couldn't hear me in traffic" → "With Noise-cancelling mics. Crystal-clear calls on a busy road."
One rule: only claim what you can prove.
Your competitor's unhappy customers have already written your best ads. For free.
Setup of festive season has started for clients, here are 5 tactics that are prime focus this time
➡️ Optimize your offers for AOV
Customers buy in bulk in these periods, for their family, friends, loved ones….
Rework on offers to optimize for AOV such as
Buy 2 @ 10% off or Get 500 off above 2000 purchase
➡️ Leverage Historical Data and Trends
Analyze last year’s performance data to identify top-selling products, peak traffic times, and customer behaviour patterns. Use these insights to optimize your current strategy
➡️ Good opportunity to clear dead stock now
Either discount heavily on this or sell it as a free product, but this is the best time to liquidate non-moving inventory
➡️ Name your offer
Don’t just say 15% off, name it “Plush Sale”, this is memorable and elevates the perception in the minds of customers that “It’s a sale period by brand, it doesn’t come often”
➡️ Include a flash sale
Inside the sale period include 6-hour or 12-hour stints that have big discounts and offers lasting for a short time, this works well to expand reach
The ECI story is the biggest sign that bureaucracy is reconnecting with media and giving news from inside the government. Happened in every transition period in the past. Happening again.
Men do higher RTO than women in every category, it’s a fact!
For any category that wants higher LTV, less return wali janta, start focusing your content on acquiring more women consumers.
The Election Commission of India is under fire like never before.
The SIR has struck 13 crore names off draft rolls, putting the EC at the centre of intense public debate over its role in deciding who gets to vote — and who doesn’t.
HOWEVER, what nobody knew: through that same period, some of the sharpest questions were being asked from inside.
