@planedrop @DenelonMs just fixed it. Thanks, Demitrius!

[Sam Erde @SamErde]

@VaenshineX Correct, it's not just removing the notification itself.

PowerShell 7.6.8 is released on GitHub and will be available via WinGet soon.

It's a maintenance release that moves the .NET SDK to 10.0.402 and somewhat ironically removes the update notification feature from PowerShell, per customer feedback. 🗣️

@AdamGell Happy for you! What are you digging into?

@RunAsRadio Great advice!

“My number one piece of advice is: What's your core? What are the core things you need? Because you don't have to roll out every tool out there.”

Joy Apple talks on RunAs Radio at https://t.co/lP4C6rUCbw about the choices in M365.

@xenappblog @merill I don’t get why people here love to dump on LinkedIn. It’s just as active in my feed. 😂

[Sam Erde @SamErde]

@svrooij Bluesky or LinkedIn?

[Sam Erde @SamErde]

It felt like we would never see a day when the Microsoft Graph PowerShell module would implement ALC and help solve dependency conflict issues.😩That day is finally here, thanks to @svrooij! 🎉👏 Release 2.41.0 is hot off the press with his excellent #mvpbuzz-worthy work!🙏💛

[Sam Erde @SamErde]

@awakecoding Ugh, or that feeling when you find a good tool, share it, and someone says, "can we write this ourselves using AI?"

[Sam Erde @SamErde]

@jeffteper Is the update going to get rolled out automatically or will it need to get enabled and pushed by admins?

[Sam Erde @SamErde]

@techspence I can relate to this a lot and I don't like it--but progress always comes at a cost!
(And progress doesn't always mean what one might initially think!)
