60 runs across 6 ai assistants. @boardyai showed up in about 6 answers.
that was yesterday's article.
off the back of it, @boardyai set me up with someone in a category where the same kind of gap was already sitting there, so i ran the same audit on them.
finished it this morning. another one out of that article.

we recently analysed how @boardyai appears when potential customers ask AI for recommendations.
60 responses. 6 AI providers. some interesting gaps.
here's the full breakdown 👇
now, who should we put under the microscope next?
drop a company in the replies.
@AppLauncher_App chatgpt was the surprise. 0 mentions across the prompts, while claude and gemini picked up boardy for investor introductions. definitely worth digging into why.
We analysed 60 AI search responses across six providers to understand how Boardy appears when potential customers ask AI for recommendations. Here's what we found, why it matters, and what businesses should actually be doing about their AI visibility. https://t.co/hJPnJ8LZlN
@suggestapi this is a good addition. visibility gets you discovered. the landing experience is what turns that discovery into action. both need to work.
@mostlymktgX we ran each prompt once per provider, not multiple reruns. so this is a baseline, not a measure of repeatability. definitely worth testing next.
i wouldn't jump to the conclusion that boardy needs to publish more content.
the interesting part is that ai is already finding boardy. it's just not finding enough consistent context to recommend it across different queries.
and that context doesn't come from a brand's website alone. it comes from everything ai can find about the brand across the web.
so the question isn't how much more content boardy needs to publish.
it's whether boardy is showing up in the places that already shape how ai understands its category.
Does adding an llms.txt file automatically make your website visible in ChatGPT?
No.
It's a proposed convention for providing language models with useful information about a website.
Google explicitly says it isn't needed for visibility in its AI search features.
Don't confuse an interesting technical experiment with a proven ranking factor.
A single screenshot of ChatGPT recommending your client isn't proof of a successful GEO campaign.Ask the same question again.Change the wording.Try another engine.Check the citations , AI answers aren't static search rankings.
