I just saw an art tutorial talking about perspective as the key to believability people lend and it reminded me of the necessity of believability in writing and mise en scene in film.
In 2021 I stopped posting drawings. I ran into some mental barriers that I had to work around, but I’ve been practicing this entire time. This year I wanted to show my progress somehow without spamming old work I don’t like.
Anyhow, here’s some heavy-handed redraws of the stranger things kids I drew in 2021. Bear with my while I destroy my sketchbook with my eraser for a bit. I guess I’m back.
I was feeling in control right before summer and then didn’t draw until September this year. I feel like I came back from tour and had to start all over. Felt like I forgot everything. Getting back into the swing of things, but I have so much to work on.
