Catching up on the latest season from the @AsinHvn podcast, and I’ve been really impressed by it. Fantastic look at the rise of de-churching, and what that means for our discipleship and church cultures: https://t.co/s0KSnyytgL

1) Don’t say things I wouldn’t say in front of my church.
2) Log off frequently for an extended amount of time (days, weeks, months, etc.)
3) If I find myself compulsively checking responses, delete the tweet immediately.
4) Don’t take yourself too seriously.
Reading Augustine’s homilies on First John and struck by how much “divisive individuals” are driven by “lofty ideals of moral purity” imposed on others and “a claim of holiness as something unique to themselves.”
Ultimately, divisiveness comes from a lack of “charity.”
