She dared to speak truth to power, exposing the roots of the ongoing ethnic and communal unrest in Manipur, yet faced intimidation and coercion.

The list doesn't end there. Prominent human rights activist, Mr. Babloo Loitanbam, suffered a similar fate as his home was vandalized. Under duress, he too retracted his statements, ones that pointed to the perpetrators behind the burning of Christian churches in Imphal.

These alarming incidents showcase a distressing trend. The forces of Meetei Leepun, Arambai Tenggol, and Meira Paibis utilize coercion, intimidation, and fear to silence the truth and suppress those who dare to speak it. The circumstantial video evidence paints a stark reality of how dissent is quashed, and truth is battered and bruised.

In times such as these, we are faced with a critical crossroads. Will we stand by as democracy's coffin is rapidly constructed, or will we rise to defy this bleak fate? The choice is ours, and it's a choice that will echo through the annals of history. Let us unite, champion the truth, and uphold the pillars of democracy, for a society built on fear and coercion is a society destined for ruin.
