Why @SynFPS_ and I won’t be at the Shanghai Finals today.

This is a tough one to write, because everything on our end was 100% ready. Our flights were booked, our hotel was reserved, and our entire schedule and program on the ground to attend the Finals in Shanghai were completely locked in. We were one step away from an incredible opportunity to represent the Moroccan gaming community abroad and bring you guys along for the whole experience.

Unfortunately, we hit a wall of administrative and visa processing delays at the very last hurdle. Between overloaded local administrative schedules right now and tight consular timelines at the Embassy, our visas simply didn't clear in time—despite us and the organizers reaching out repeatedly with all our travel proofs to try and push the final step through.

Going from having a once-in-a-lifetime trip in your hands to staying home over a final piece of paperwork is brutal.

Huge thank you to the organizers and partners who invited us, set everything up, and fought until the last minute to make this trip happen. We’ll be watching the Finals from home this time, and the grind continues.
