Yesterday it was shot down, but GOP lawmakers stormed out and threatened to sink a must-pass funding bill.

Today, on a second vote, the House voted to send the LLC bill to the Senate.

@girlnamedblue I am an extreme nostalgia victim, if I had to make a judgement on each of my possessions before packing it would take me forever and I would end up bringing most of it anyway. It's much easier for me to throw ever in a box and see what doesn't get unpacked urgently.

Got this mailer myself today, was very suspicious since I know from my own research 5/7 current members of the KS Supreme Court were nominated by Democrats, and I know from... middle school US Government (?) that the State and Federal Supreme Courts are not the same people.

A mailer to voters across Kansas suggests removing state Supreme Court justices in Tuesday's election would help protect access to abortion.

In fact, abortion rights advocates want to keep the justices on the bench another six years.
