Today’s athlete plays 2+ year round sports, practices or plays 5-7 days per week, sits 7+ hours a day in school, sleeps less than 7 hours a night, and has poor daily nutrition habits. But when they get hurt...it’s definitely because of the weights...
But what we do know, is that fatigue and overuse are highly correlated to injury. Our athletes are likely practicing/playing too much and recovering too little.
Last spring, Joshua sophomore Gabbie Guerrero was involved in an accident that easily could have taken away her ability to play the game she loves so much.
But Gabbie was not about to let that happen.

No amount of outward success can give us inward acceptance.
We can only find that in the comfort of the One who will never reject us — Jesus. The One who sits with us and reminds us rejection from man doesn’t equal rejection from God.
