A MAJOR severe weather outbreak is likely today, with widespread damaging winds, very large hail, and multiple strong tornadoes possible from Texas to the Midwest.

I am very concerned that tomorrow could feature a nasty severe weather outbreak, with several strong tornadoes possible from Texas to the Midwest.

This will begin by as early as 12pm, and last into the late evening. Widespread damaging winds, large hail, and intense (EF-3+) tornadoes will be possible. The big question mark will be storm mode. Any storms that are discrete will be working with an incredibly favorable environment for strong to intense tornadoes. This is a high-risk type setup, but if storm mode is more linear and messy, it will likely be more of a wind threat, with a few strong tornadoes still possible.
