In my #SDG15 unit, I will be conversing between Men's Shed (AMSA). AMSA will be a great community link to assist in the practicality and effectiveness of my unit. It will also be a great opportunity for Ss to socialise with men outside of school. #UoNTeach #educ4750

@BellaWightman Group tasks! I love how group tasks effectively encourages students to collaborate with one another. On top of this, Project Based Learning is another tool in which we can facilitate the collaboration between students.

@Miss_GRiley I have indeed, Grace! The Kooragang Wetland Rehabilitation Project is in Hexham and provides school excursions that teaches Ss sustainable plans to maintain biodiversity and our local ecosystems.

A similar type of excursion would be great for the unit I am teaching in regards to #SDG15. Teaching students the importance of sustainable actions to halt the degradation of our land is a top priority of mine, particularly in my unit. #UoNTeach #educ4750
