@wesleytypes@CDPROJEKTRED@larianstudios@WarhorseStudios It’s because it’s not overly American corporate over there. Look how good American made video games used to be before video games became what they are now in terms of popularity. Every form of art will be ruined by money in America if it gets big enough.
@mrpyo1 I know I’m in the minority, but I’m absolutely hyped for this game because I know my girlfriend is going to love it. A Sony singleplayer game where she’ll get to play as a badass female character who’s not a total slut. I’m going to be happy seeing her happy with this game
Would Sony be doing all of that right now if they decided to just stick to what they did best? Idk. Probably yes, but it’s still an interesting train of thought. I think console manufacturers also need to stop trying to be publishers and buying up studios.
Now you’re seeing the aftermath of them failing and losing a ton of money because they wanted to try and cash in with the multiplayer fads going on. Now we’re seeing them and Microsoft push for things like Advertisements in our games, ID verifications for selling our data, etc.
@Grummz in a different light right now. You don’t always win when you gamble/take risks. Sony had a formula that worked and was successful but they wanted more and looked how it turned out.
@Grummz Gotta give Sony credit, they took a lot of risks since the Fortnite and apex craze, but I really think if Sony would’ve just stayed focused on what made them insanely successful in the 2010’s—their one of a kind AAA singleplayer games— we would be speaking of them
Next game I’m gonna get will be Metroid Prime 4 after I get paid. Looking forward to it as prime 1 is one of the greatest games I’ve ever played and it’ll be cool to see a modern rendition of it. Excited as hell, I need more prime. @NintendoAmerica give us prime 2!
@bloodfaros All 3. PS5 pro for the graphical powerhouses and modern games, Xbox series S for retro games and Halo, and Switch 2 for Nintendo exclusives and super retro games
Finish Metroid prime, then back to dark souls 1 or start Silksong. We shall see
I wanna finish kcd 2, amazing game but I think the reason I keep putting it off is because it’s such a ginormous game
The Buddhas are strong believers of the philosophy that everything changes, nothing is permanent.
I got reminded of that philosophy after I found a bunch of photos and videos of me when I was 18 and 19 years old. I don’t even know that person hardly at all anymore. Cool to see
Tried out the demo for sonic racing crosswords and I was genuinely surprised and impressed. Definitely will pick up eventually when it goes on a sale for a good price @PlayStation@sonic_hedgehog
