@itsgerolaga@25percentcrisis Ruth's Hand & Kristine's Foot (Mananangal) should battle it out in the ultimate horror crossover! Sorry, Writer's Group inside joke...
I'm not a prolific writer and, on top of that, I'm a screenwriter (we like empty space on pages), so hitting 100K typed words was a big deal for me. https://t.co/ze023qI7ZS
Miyazaki famously dumped computers used to animate MONONOKE to hire more human animators for PONYO, so his story about a disabled friend is not a direct comparison to the AI "zombies" but provides emotional context that's missing from the researcher's motives. That's the insult.
๐ Congratulations Quarterfinalists!! ๐ We are thrilled to advance entries to the Quarterfinalist round of the Diverse Voices Screenwriting Lab for another read. A huge congratulations to every writer advancing! Get all the details here: https://t.co/gbRAJpTzQm
Hey! My feature screenplay COLOMI made it as a Quarterfinalist in the Diverse Voices Screenwriting Lab competition. Congrats to the others as well, especially my fellow horror writers that made the list! https://t.co/ey4MK0oeyg
I don't write in Fountain Syntax often but when I do it's helpful. So instead of constantly trying to remember the formatting, I'll just have this cheat sheet handy. https://t.co/w3wJBdJBXM
@Knparkerwriter Even the "anime" characters were atrociously un-Japanese. Other than the actual design, I think it was because the artwork all lacked black outlines. I can't recall any Japanese anime or graphical characters that didn't have black outlines... right?
To be clear about one of many cultural discrepancies in the film BULLET TRAIN, at the very end there are siren sounds that go "woo-woo-woo-woo," but in Japan they should be "pee-po-pee-po."
