I built a secret scanner for the AI era. Not for Git - for LLM pipelines.
One API call. Text in, clean text out. 50 secret types. Sub-5ms. Nothing stored.

@kristoph@Nerdrotics For sure, it's one of my favorite locations because it combines street grunge with Japanese safety and cleanliness. Like NY or SF but with sensible laws.
The Riverwalk is really only trashed between 4am-6:30am
We added 58 new secret patterns and ran them through 21,862 public files.
They all fired zero times.
That's suspicious. Here's why — and what we did about it.

Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
A week later and Code w Claude Extended is still the best builder-centric event I've been to.
Kyle Easterly rebuilt a 1999 MMORPG (Era Online) using Claude Code, got his childhood community back online, played it with his 4yo. talk ended with all of us logging in.
Jon McBee said "if the context is the input, coherence becomes an engineering discipline." stuck with me, so much of what we're doing now is context management.
@AnthropicAI treated attendees like builders, not customers.
