@LloydCymru My disappointing city was Amsterdam. Granted, we were only there a few hours on a layover but I found the streets to be dirty. Once I’d taken a few nice pics of the canals and walked through the red light district I’d seen enough and was happy to go back to the airport!
@LloydCymru We did a free walking tour of Brussels recently, which was an interesting way to see the city and learn about it. We were only there one night, which was enough.
Well done to our VET secondary students who have prepared hundreds of lunch packs for our @SchoolsSpec performers & coffees to keep our teachers fuelled. Thank you Ingleburn HS & Chifley College Bidwill Campus students for operating ‘Bubay Ganya Dharragu - Little house of food’.
IHS Hospitality at the NSW Training Awards
Last night, students from Y11 Hospitality were invited to assist in catering for the NSW Training Awards at Town Hall in Sydney.
This is our third year at this exclusive black tie event where we were one of only two schools asked to showcase Hospitality VET in public education.
Students prepared a selection of pre dinner canapés at school that they then served to award recipients, guests and dignitaries on the night.
Our students were once again highly praised for their culinary skills, their excellent service and their fantastic attitude!
Thank you to Mrs Hull, Mrs Musgrove and Mrs McMurdo for their dedication in supporting our students in this exciting opportunity.@CathyArgyle@_iEndo@k_rigas @DebSummerhayes @dizdarm
@Demonchessa@TeachersFed@henryrajendra They are 💯 forcing people back into the classroom. They can then boast of how they solved the teacher shortage. Bonus is they also save money.
@aliceleung I suffer from migraines. Struggled through one at school, taking my meds and sleeping on my desk during my free period. Next one I went home midday and stayed in bed all the next day. That and a 1/4 day doctor’s visit I figure I did okay this term!
@citrine333@MaralynParker @CheadlerobRob Nope. Immediate cut of 1.25% to all school budgets. Funds are already frozen resulting in programs cut and future resources lost. Student outcomes will suffer.
