@lord_lord14 @BCNursesUnion @BCNUAman @adriandix Oh… I believe Casual Nurses are dedicated. If all Casuals take perm lines… who covers sick calls and last minute LOA’s? Casuals are necessary, valuable, trained, talented assets. Shameful this issue has divided Nurses into an ‘Us and Them’ scenario.

@tmcmanson I’m a 40 yr , now Retired, Casual RN. Continuing to work in the OR to help fill the gap of needing to help train ‘new to the OR ‘ RN’s. It’s not an overnight process. And if all the Casual’s take perm lines… who fills in the sick calls?
