@CTWhite80 @ProfKarolSikora Yes it is unfair. This is about a regressive tax. You have bandings for items like council tax or contributions towards NI etc so why is a taper or exemption impossible here.

Imo this targets those with mobility issues and the more vulnerable. Will lead to social isolation and really disappointing that the policy is not protecting these people.

Isolation and protecting the elderly and those with care needs need review here
