@RafaellaMarcus My advice - go to New York for a week. When I had a play on at Trafalgar Studios I couldn’t get a meeting with any UK theatres for neither love nor money, but all the NYC new writing theatres met me merely off the back of a cold email (didn’t even have to go through my agent).

On 28th Oct 1998 @TheFrankOzJam performed @MissPiggy at the @PrincesTrust Comedy Gala. I waited in the freezing cold to meet him. He was kind, self-deprecating and gave his time generously despite the arctic temperatures. This photo always makes me smile. 😊 #muppets #muppetfan

@Screendaily What a scam. THEY chose these projects from 1000s of submissions. Wasted filmmakers’ time with false hope of a fake prize. Now they pay them off w/ a shitty excuse about names & IP, as if that’s a new development. The whole point was to give an opportunity to something original.
