An asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs.
It’s been a challenging 65 million years knowing they never saw it coming, but I’m so excited we still get to ride the next one.
Here’s 9 things it taught me about managing the original ASTEROID☄️:
THE NEXT PHASE OF ASTEROID: AsteroidXSI
SpaceX is evolving into SpaceXSI. Superior Intelligence. A whole new era.
And when the ship evolves, the mascot follows.
That's just how it works.
So here's the drop: AsteroidXSI — a Sci-Fi themed Quest Adventure, built around the OG Shiba in the space suit.
Think missions. Think exploration. Think the plushie that started it all finally getting the story it deserves.
We're not spilling everything yet. More details coming soon — and trust us, you'll want to be here when they land.
We are the OG ASTEROID with IP rights in 60+ countries. The original Asteroid on Ethereum. Same dog, bigger universe.
Stay tuned. Stay strapped in.

Re-reading Isaacson's Musk book this weekend. Second time through and the prologue still gets me, a kid in South Africa gets kicked down a flight of steps, spends a week in hospital, and that same kid grows up to put rockets in orbit.
He just never quit.
Funny thing, a kid once sent a Shiba plushie called ASTEROID to zero-g on a SpaceX ride, and the man kept his word and made it his company's mascot.
That hits different now. When I said I was going to clean up crypto, people laughed. Called it a meme coin, said who cares.
So I did the boring, unglamorous thing nobody else bothered with and registered ASTEROID® in 60+ countries. Not to cash out.
To hold the line on what crypto was actually supposed to be, decentralized, owned by the community, no cabals pulling strings, no paid shills.
Doge proved something. Memes like that matter because they belong to everyone. Nobody gets to own them. That's exactly why this one is worth fighting for.
The original ASTEROID on Ethereum.
@elonmusk I think you'd get it. Don't you?
168 days ago, Elon Musk answered “Ok 😀” to making Asteroid the mascot of SpaceX.
Asteroid is the Shiba Inu zero-g indicator Liv Perrotto designed for the Polaris Dawn mission. It was the last question on the list she never got to ask him. He said yes. Jared Isaacman thanked him for honoring her. Her family saw it. The internet saw it.
Then silence.
Since that reply, Starship has kept flying. Crew-13 has flown. Hardware has launched, landed, and made history in public. The mascot he agreed to has not been mentioned once.
Asteroid is not a fan idea waiting for permission. It is the answer he already gave. A Shiba Inu that was built to float in zero-g, tied to a real mission, tied to a promise, and confirmed by the person who runs SpaceX.
Great flights deserve a face. Programs get patches, indicators, and symbols for a reason. People remember the dog on the indicator. They remember the story behind it. Leaving Asteroid off the board after an open “Ok” makes the yes look smaller than it was.
It has been 168 days. Starship is flying. Crew-13 happened. The decision is already on the record.
Tell the world about Asteroid. Openly.
Days like today are what make a community strong.
We're not waiting on an @elonmusk tweet, a delisting, or anyone's permission.
We decide where this goes. We show up, we build, we keep pushing.
Say it with me: ASTEROID is going to the top. Not hoping. Not wishing. Knowing.
Projects like this don't get lucky. They get there because the people behind them already see it, and refuse to let go of it.

Sized into the first ever asteroid on ethereum. Fair to say that they have been cooking:
they registered ASTEROID in the eu, japan, korea, china and 60 other country’s.
Over 17 platforms have fully removed asteroid except this one including some top exchanges.
I always believed in asteroid as mascot of SPCX what will be one of the worlds biggest company’s ever.

Another journey beyond Earth.
In less than an hour, Crew-13 will lift off aboard Dragon and write another chapter of spaceflight history.
Godspeed Crew-13, @NASA and @SpaceX.
And as always… we’ll be watching for one little passenger! 👀
