@hemantsarin@iqtibaas88@moomjamma@britishmuseum Yes, this appears to be the very same scene from another workshop, producing a version of this circulating image of an assembly of Sufi saints.
I was hoping to find a reference for this unusual Pahari painting, but it’s proving difficult.
Thank you, though!
@iqtibaas88@moomjamma Indeed, it seems to be a much circulated and reproduced depiction of Sufi saints, originating in Mughal workshops.
This Guler painting seems to be a Pahari example of this very same scene, but it’s proving hard to track down!

This photograph of Chajju’s shrine shows two Chatris, one of which can be seen towards the top left of S. M. Latif’s engraved illustration.
Chajju has been forgotten, yet he is said to have asked Guru Arjan to consider his poetry when word got out about the Guru’s Adi Granth.
Probably the only illustration of Chajju Bhagat’s mausoleum in Lahore. With the expansion of Mayo Hospital, all three of the peripheral Chatris drawn below have been demolished, leaving only the central Caubara enclosed within the hospital’s extension.
