It's okay you are sad. Things are off; the tilt toward hate and cynicism and judgement would unbalance the strongest. That pain you feel comes from your heart, from empathy and reverence for life. Those are hopeful things. And so when you can turn some of the energy from hurt to hope there is a break of light. Breathe my friend. Time has always shown that compassion and love outlast the deepest pangs of the night.

Endless opportunities are in front of you.
So many options it can feel overwhelming.
You will have to choose.
Learn how to tell the difference between a choice made from a place of fear-based survival and one of expansive love.
The love-based choice may feel scary but it also carries a sense of excitement. Like butterflies fluttering inside you. 🦋
Thinking about the expansive choice makes you smile and feel young.
There is endless energy available when you feel that way.
This choice will require courage as it can feel out of reach or outside your comfort zone.
But you know inside of you that this choice is your path.
***
The safe and easy road will be tempting, but it’s only there to test you.
The ego wants to keep you safe so it will always whisper in your ear to go that way.
It might even yell and scream.
The ego will eagerly sacrifice freedom in pursuit of safety.
But the high road choice is also there.
It looks harder to travel but you know it’s the better choice in the long run.
***
Decide that everything you truly want is right around the bend in the river.
Be firm in your decision.
Leaders are confident in their ability to make decisions.
Choose that future for yourself.
Be willing to be courageous.
Be willing to live in integrity.
Be willing to pursue what is meant for you.

Many people forgot what their real job is…
They are “disengaged” where it matters the most…
Your daily job is to:
CONDITION your mind.
You must focus your mind, empty your mind, challenge it, protect it, and love it daily.
Call it personal development or mindfulness or whatever but
That work is what brings you happiness and success.
Without it, you are RULED by distraction and discouragement and lame thoughts of comparison and antagonism.
Your job is to mature your mind into a force that makes life and hardship bearable, winnable, ENJOYABLE.
If you’re not happy, don’t forget your job. Re-engage in your personal growth habits and get your mind back on your side.
Your coach,
Brendon.

Landing a job in tech after 5 years of learning is still landing a job
Running a mile in 20 minutes is still running a mile
Earning your degree at 55 is still earning a degree
It's ok if it takes you a bit longer!
What matters is that you actually get to where you are going!
