@JillFilipovic Do you mean Induction for the cooktop? Gas and Electric ovens can both do Convection (fans moving air in the oven) if the feature is included.
@PaulMarcoe Its Mt Baker, not Rainier. No view like this is possible. Mt Rainier is obscured by the Olympic foothills if you were this far away from the lighthouse and lined up with Rainier. You’d have to be in a boat as well and there would be no 2nd strip of land in the foreground if so
Maybe CMD + ENTER makes more sense? Anyway, not to solution for you but if you could solve this problem for me I would have a much better experience on iPad where much of my usage takes place
@AravSrinivas@perplexity_ai Huge perplexity fan and Pro account holder here. Use it multiple times a day on a daily basis. One thing you could do to improve the experience on iPad is allow SHIFT + ENTER (or similar) send my query. 🙏
Right now when I’m done typing my query, I hit enter EVERYTIME, get a new line that I didn’t want, and then have to lift my hand off the keyboard to touch the “send” button on the screen. Being able to send from the keyboard would be so much smoother
@_therayray Also a designer, I have a M2 MacBook Air with 24GB of ram. It absolutely rips, handles everything I throw at it, and the battery lasts forever. If I was shopping now I’d be looking at a refurb M2 MBA or a new M3 MBA. Pro is fully overkill (and is chonky) 👌
@EndiWebb@perplexity_ai@AravSrinivas @ChatGPTapp Low stakes example, but moral of the story, LLMs are cool and all, but confidently wrong, a lot. Will more compute and more training data change that?
I'm a designer, not an LLM engineer, but I bet @GaryMarcus has a some thoughts
6/6
Having been designing deep in the "AI Trenches" since the middle of last year, I witness the limitations of LLMs on pretty much a daily basis. One prime example popped up in my personal life last night. So off to the AI Tools™️ I went...
A thread, with screen shot receipts 1/🧵
