You should look into how much of a sham the price cap is - it doesn’t protect consumers, it lets the govt price energy at the highest unit price to produce (of all the sources that go into the grid) and then keeps the difference. I’m “off grid” - propane tank to the development we are in, aka no price cap, we pay on av £20 a month for energy.
