@NMCB43613582@BaybarsGy@elonmusk ๐คก Wrong. Back to reality.
The Portuguese found the natives already here in 1400s.
[Ancozes= nkosi (chief); virangune= nguni]
Descendants of agrarians, hunters & pastoralists.
Millennia of lineage.
(Most Boers however DID come turn of 20th century.)
@HassanDuale13 @samued5r@BassieLastrassi You seem to have a problem with your own name, like you're not comfortable with it. It won't change the facts.
You're a guest in someone else's country. The very people who protested, built it. And they will continue to and there's nothing you can do about it.

@RiebvJanbeeck@Michael47226582 Lol๐คก is that why "given homelands" were to be WESTERN 'democracies' by design?
The "homelands" were labour reserves for building the rest of SA (mines, farms, cities) administratively created so as not to have to give SA demographic majority political & property rights.
While a clan of Eurasian mixed colony people 200 years ago were referred to as "Afrikaner", the language "Afrikaans" is clearly just a dialect of DUTCH.
It makes no sense to pretend it's anything else.
Like calling U.S. English "American" & then claiming it's native American.
Afrikaans is a creole Dutch language developed by Cape Coloureds in the 19th century. The โAfrikanersโ have little to no claim to the language, the latter are just Dutch settlers or the descendants thereof.
@desmondballies1@samued5r@PedroMzileni If only you'd know the meaning of the word 'either' on top of it... you wouldn't ask. It implies both.
Then the rest, you're trying to convince yourself of, would actually be easier to believe about you people...though no one would care either way.

@LetsFreeTheCape *Apart from the obvious elephant in the room that the "censuses" didn't even count most Africans, based on what Europeans decided an "allowed resident" (read labouring for THEM) was.
@AgentLeonV3 Ever wonder why actual native cultures don't need to label themselves as continental global abstractions that exist in relation to OTHER continents?
Ever wonder why no native European tribe name is "European"?
Lol, what a shot in the foot.
