@ABridgen changes driven by goals of use of biofuel and reducing carbon soot. maybe haha

[Samuel Lewis @SamuelbenLew]

@ABridgen Recent fuel and jet engine changes have caused finer organic exhaust particles that linger for longer as chemical condensation trail. Historic carbon soot chemical condensation trails didn't last as long but have been reduced in recent history. maybe haha https://t.co/fhYz8VURFO

Fascinating work by David Gems @ucl on osteoarthritis (OA) from a programmatic perspective 🤯

His framework is that OA is caused by programmatic changes that prime chondrocytes for futile program activation as a form of antagonistic pleiotropy.

Very sad @Blagosklonny has passed away. He is best known for his work on rapamycin and the hyperfunction theory, which is similar to my software design flaw hypothesis.

A wonderful paper is also his 2002 perspective @Nature on conceptual biology. RIP.

@weidai11 Interestingly i've personally maybe realised. All of human history is the study, application of ai alignment. Pointing to a deer and going "ugg", was probably the start. haha

Sad news: the passing of my brave friend, founder and Co-Chief editor of @AgingJrnl, Dr. Misha Blagoskonny. I will miss him dearly.

I’m saddened to share that Dr. Alan Green, renowned for his pioneering work in the off-label use of rapamycin with the hope of improving healthspan and longevity, passed away yesterday.

As more information becomes available, I will update this post. He will be deeply missed. ❤️

[Elon Musk @elonmusk]

Exactly.

This platform does not seek to impose the laws of the United States on other countries – we obey the laws of that country in that country.

The problem in Brazil is that @AlexandreFiles we were being told to break Brazilian laws and that we would be sanctioned if we told anyone about it!

[Elon Musk @elonmusk]

Today, we launch the daily data dump on the crimes – under *Brazilian* law – that fake “judge” @alexandre has committed!

He can block this platform in Brazil, but he can’t stop the whole world from knowing his illegal, shameful & hypocritical deeds. Karma’s a b*tch bro.

[Global Government Affairs @GlobalAffairs]

Soon, we expect Judge Alexandre de Moraes will order X to be shut down in Brazil – simply because we would not comply with his illegal orders to censor his political opponents. These enemies include a duly elected Senator and a 16-year-old girl, among others.

When we attempted to defend ourselves in court, Judge de Moraes threatened our Brazilian legal representative with imprisonment. Even after she resigned, he froze all of her bank accounts. Our challenges against his manifestly illegal actions were either dismissed or ignored. Judge de Moraes’ colleagues on the Supreme Court are either unwilling or unable to stand up to him.

We are absolutely not insisting that other countries have the same free speech laws as the United States. The fundamental issue at stake here is that Judge de Moraes demands we break Brazil’s own laws. We simply won’t do that.

In the days to come, we will publish all of Judge de Moraes’ illegal demands and all related court filings in the interest of transparency.

Unlike other social media and technology platforms, we will not comply in secret with illegal orders.

To our users in Brazil and around the world, X remains committed to protecting your freedom of speech.

-------------------

1. Biden-Harris Admin "pressured" Facebook to censor Americans.

2. Facebook censored Americans.

3. Facebook throttled the Hunter Biden laptop story.

I’m a little late to this, but for good reason — I’ve just safely departed from Europe.

France has threatened Rumble, and now they have crossed a red line by arresting Telegram’s CEO, Pavel Durov, reportedly for not censoring speech.

Rumble will not stand for this behavior and will use every legal means available to fight for freedom of expression, a universal human right. We are currently fighting in the courts of France, and we hope for Pavel Durov’s immediate release.

[Global Government Affairs @GlobalAffairs]

Last night, Alexandre de Moraes threatened our legal representative in Brazil with arrest if we do not comply with his censorship orders. He did so in a secret order, which we share here to expose his actions.

Despite our numerous appeals to the Supreme Court not being heard, the Brazilian public not being informed about these orders and our Brazilian staff having no responsibility or control over whether content is blocked on our platform, Moraes has chosen to threaten our staff in Brazil rather than respect the law or due process.

As a result, to protect the safety of our staff, we have made the decision to close our operation in Brazil, effective immediately.

The X service remains available to the people of Brazil.
We are deeply saddened that we have been forced to make this decision. The responsibility lies solely with Alexandre de Moraes.

His actions are incompatible with democratic government. The people of Brazil have a choice to make - democracy, or Alexandre de Moraes.
—
