Drama erupted during a meeting after Senator Mao Ohuabunwa urged members of the community to support President Bola Tinubu for a second term instead of Peter Obi.

Ohuabunwa reportedly argued that Igbos had made mistakes in previous elections and should now unite behind President Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

His remarks were met with a strong reaction from members of the community, who openly rejected the proposal and insisted that they would not support the decision.
