@DavoustBaldPate Fine. Call us what you want. My point stands. If you want to criticize us, take the time to actually learn our doctrines first. If you don't, don't be surprised when we fail to take you seriously.
@Awurabena2 I never claimed Abraham was Jesus Christ. To expand on my question, was Abraham redeemed by Christ, or not? What of his grandson Jacob? If polygamy means you are not a "new creation in Christ" and are not "born again" does that not mean they were condemned to hell?
@ReformedGunn If it's in the Bible, then show me. What is the gospel Paul preached? If you cannot tell me what the gospel is, then I have no choice but to conclude that you do not know. And if you do not know, then how can you conclude that we preach one that is different from Paul's?
@WallWatchman1 "The teachers of religion of the different sects understood the same passages of scripture so differently as to destroy all confidence in settling the question by an appeal to the Bible." - Joseph Smith, Jr.
@Faustzme Setting the less-than-civil behavior of some people on this platform aside, suggesting that all Latter-day Saints are stubborn fools who don't know what's good for them seems rather arrogant.
@LukeFHan One of the lessons from the gambling talk is this: just because they haven't talked about it for a while doesn't mean a position is changing. That lesson will go right over their heads though.
@SoliDeoGloria_X Why was the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden? If eating the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge is unequivocally a bad thing to do, why create it in the first place?
@Salt_n_Smoke You're missing the theological point of this verse. They could not have joy in the Garden of Eden because they never experienced sorrow. "For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so... righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness."
@Faustzme Okay. Why is it wrong to believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three distinct entities, one in mind and purpose? If that makes us polytheist, so be it. Why is that a problem?
@SoliDeoGloria_X "And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend." Exodus 33:11
"I have seen God face to face." Genesis 32:30
"Mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." Isaiah 6:5
I've got more if you want them.
