🧵/ This heartbreaking case highlights why so many doctors like me have begged @NHSEngland & @DHSCgovuk to stop endangering NHS patients by substituting doctors with non-medically trained PAs
We've been dismissed & smeared as "toxic bullies".

🚨 Rant incoming! Liverpool City Council’s ridiculous new parking measures are hitting businesses, employees & residents hard—forced through with zero consultation. Thousands of hardworking people will suffer. It needs sorting ASAP! They can’t just bully everyone.
Plans to build the UK’s largest solar farm (2,400-acres) in Oxfordshire have been submitted to the Planning Inspectorate.
This is wrong. Instead of developing solar panels on prime farmland, put them on brownfield land, roofs or car parks instead.

This shows a desperate lack of understanding: you can sit on a farm worth much *more* than this on paper, earn below the minimum wage and so have to sell the farm after your parent’s death. Those farms will be bought mostly by private equity firms. A deeply reactionary policy.
*sighs*…. In the Lakes you can have a farm worth millions on paper, and earn less than the minimum wage. If you have to sell it to pay IHT, the farm will go into the hands of massive corporate types. This reduces food production, harms the environment and is simply unjust.
“We have an agriculture policy minted by the previous Conservative government and, for the time being at least, maintained by this Labour government, that is based on - disincentivising the production of food.”
~ Tim Farron MP
A major solar farm project in Lincolnshire has been given the go-ahead by Energy Secretary Ed Miliband despite local objections to the plan. UK’s biggest solar farm will be developed on farmland.
Mass-scale solar panels shouldn’t be developed on prime agricultural land.
Absolutely buzzing to have picked up 4 Oasis tickets from a guy advertising on Facebook. Poor bloke got them on early release but can’t go because of his brother’s wedding, money transferred. Let’s go
What a reflection of our humanity when we celebrate the release of 4 hostages through the merciless killing of 210 civilians and maiming of over 400 when the release could and should have been achieved through negotiations without such a massacre. Clearly all lives are not equal.
General public need to know about this! Mental policy..
Should never be in a situation where a GP can’t find work.
Meanwhile the rhetoric is “Lazy GP’s”
Infuriating.
