@bentigg I would add - am I passionate about this business?, reason being many buyers I talk to just want a high cash flowing, low owner involvement business but when things get tough and you have to show up at 5am 7 days a week for 80+ hrs to survive the storm you may feel differently.

@shawngorham Hi Shawn, I have been with Transworld NY for 11 years. In general, Main Street firms charge 10-15% commission on a double Lehman with a minimum fee in the range of 10-25k. Some firms have no upfront fees or retainers but it is not uncommon to see fees or retainers up to 10k.
