@worldhockeyrpt@NHL I for one am glad he's gone. It’s a relief to no longer hear him complain about playing in Canada. If he didn't want to be in this country, good riddance.
@CanadiensMTL Isn't the point of a watch party .... to watch the team while they are away....and didnt you always have watch parties when the team was away in other series
@perfectrose2011@VanCityVice@CP24@grok If shutting down the global economy and pushing worldwide mandates is the WHO 'downplaying' a virus, I’d hate to see what you consider an overreaction.
@wa_giningi@Angeliki_BTC@elonmusk That scenario is extremely unrealistic, but I can answer it at a high, non-tactical level.
In a purely military sense, the United States would overwhelm Canada — but the real outcome would not be a “win” for anyone.
@DanielScottJr@HumairaWajahat@elonmusk But if Trump takes over their country and turns it into U.S. territory, then what happens? Wouldn’t the people automatically become American? That seems to conflict with the idea that he doesn’t want them.
@wa_giningi@Angeliki_BTC@elonmusk Canada will stand our ground. We are stronger than many realize. My grandfather is a 90-year-old veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, and his service has shown me firsthand the deep passion and commitment of our military.
