For the first time ever, cross country is headed to nationals!!

Competing against many champions from 12 states in yesterday's regional meet, the boys finished 2nd overall. They'll now head to Portland, OR on December 2 for the final. @MbaAthletics

XC was runner up in the Nike NXR Southeast Regional 5K this morning, which means they qualified to attend Nike Nationals on December 2, 2023.

As the scores stand now, MBA running under the monikers Wallace Boys Alumni placed second to Belen Jesuit out of Miami.

McCallie and Farragut 5th and 6th.

Eckerman, Smith, Ramer finish 6th, 7th, 8th. Could be invited as At-Large individual qualifiers.

MBA finished second of fifty teams at the Chickasaw Trails Invitational in Oakville, AL. Samuel Trumble was third overall in 15:29. Jack Wallace12th,Mitchell Chaffin 30th, Gabe Guillamondegui 46th, and JP Newman 48th to round out the scoring five.

Had a great indoor season! First season without coming off of football, and first time running the mile. Finished with a 4:20.35 pr in my 3rd mile ever. Looking forward to outdoor!
