@NoWPaS, where new friends, new ideas and many memories are made!! Thanks again for creating the ultimate conference experience! #salmove#salmonids#science
And now we have Samantha Beck @salmonthaBeck that will talk about characterising the genomic basis of adult return timing in Canadian Atlantic salmon (Salmo salar) 🐟

Two new faces at GFT!
Fisheries Intern Abbie joined us a month ago and has been getting stuck in with electrofishing surveys. Dr Samantha Beck, our new Fisheries Biologist, started this week. Sam will be running many of the GFT research, monitoring and restoration projects.
The environmental impacts of the food system could increase by 50–90% between 2010 and 2050 if no action is taken to counteract the expected changes in population and income levels, according to a study in Nature. https://t.co/zt2fgnrLiA
