I posted this a little while ago on tiktok, and I was lucky enough to see that Lena liked it at the time.

Argument scenes must be some of the hardest for her, considering all the emotional stages she has to go through to deliver a truly convincing performance. And then I remember that Pls Love has so many argument scenes, on top of the love scenes in between, with long lists of stage directions. She has to remember to do this at this exact moment, that at another, say this here and there, all while controlling the intensity of her anger, sadness and keeping everything emotionally authentic.

Acting isn’t just a game. There is so much work behind every scene, especially when the actor is a perfectionist and a method actor.

But what I find beautiful is that, despite how challenging so many of those scenes must have been, I know she had fun making them...precisely because they challenged her. And there’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing just how far your hard work can take you when it’s driven by genuine passion.

That’s what makes watching her performances so special to me.
