Shri KC Venugopal from Keralam, speaking for the INDI alliance, said they support Women’s Reservation but opposed it over delimitation, claiming it’s a move against South India.
Then he tried to corner the government asking if they are ready to bring reservation by increasing 50% seats in every state. Looked like a “mass” question meant to trap Shri @AmitShah Ji.
But Shri Amit Shah ji turned it around instantly:
“Yes, I’m ready. I’ll come back with an amendment to increase 50% seats across all states. Will you support it?”
And then… complete silence from the opposition.
That silence exposes their real intention. They speak about women’s empowerment in words, but their mindset is to prevent adequate representation of women in legislatures and Parliament. I feel pity for the women leaders and karyakartas of opposition parties.
Opposing parties should seriously question themselves; what have they achieved ?
While the reality is that the numbers would come down for the south and women reservation bill has been postponed ! Justice is rendered neither to the south nor the women! If 2026 census were to come the situation would be worse off for the south, further penalised for being disciplined in the matters of family planning.
In Lok Sabha today, the bill introduced to increase women's representation was opposed by the DMK, the Congress, and their allies, and they voted against its passage.
For nearly three decades, the effort to ensure reservation for women in the Lok Sabha has been repeatedly stalled by the Congress party & their alliance partners, including the DMK.
Even in 2010, when they were in power, the Congress–DMK alliance failed to introduce the bill in the Lok Sabha, and Today, by once again opposing it, they have turned their backs on women across the country.
Their continued resistance to an increase in women’s political representation speaks for itself; the DMK and Congress stand exposed yet again as parties unwilling to support women's rightful place in governance.

I wish to respectfully bring to your attention a growing concern regarding restrictions on social media content in India under Section 79(3)(b) of the IT Act.
In many cases, such actions appear to occur without prior notice or clarity.
I humbly request that this issue be examined, and that appropriate steps be considered to ensure greater transparency, accountability, and procedural clarity in such matters.
This would strengthen trust in the system.
I loved Dhurandhar-1, but The Revenge surpassed the original in both scale and soul.
The writing, casting, technical execution, music, world design and direction are flawless…. But it’s the emotional stakes that really ground it.
The writing manages to weave plot twists that create genuine tension charged with emotion. @AdityaDharFilms, you hit it out of the park. It takes guts to make and release a film 4 hours long. The audience is glued to the seat till the last frame. 🫡
@RanveerOfficial, what a performance man… The sequence with the sister in the shed is a masterclass in acting. From that beginning to the heart-wrenching climax, you mesmerized us both as Hamza and Jaskirat.
@ActorMadhavan garu, you carried the helplessness and frustration of a nation so well that we felt your sucess as ours..
Congratulations to the entire team for the resounding success… 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
