This case deserves national attention: Vadodara District Judge Md. Sayyed rejected Gujarat Police's request to grant a 14-day remand of rapists Md. Abbas, Sharukh, Aftab, Agzal, and Saif, who raped a 16-year-old minor girl when she was passing through a Muslim dominated area to play Garba.

Those rapists said Gujarat Police were treating them like rapists, and the judge got emotional, granting just 2 days of remand (a formality).

With such judges who openly side with their religious fellows, even rapists, how can we expect justice?

Gujarat Police arrested them within 36 hours, made all the efforts, and everything was ruined because a Muslim judge couldn't see fellow Muslim rapists in pain.

What about the victim? What about her pain? What about her trauma? What about her family? What about her future?

Those rapists won't be spared, Gujarat gvt is looking for more legal options, but this incident raises a big question mark on system...
