The future of our past will depend on the infrastructure we build for it today.

We're building the world’s largest open-access repository for documented heritage. And we are raising the capital to make this happen.
One mission: To redefine how ancient Indian manuscripts and inscriptions are preserved and accessible in the digital age. And offer true open-source DPI to scholars, institutions, and the world.
Mission: Beyond Digitization
Step 1: We are actively engineering the foundation—machine-readable knowledge graphs, Unicode-compliant cataloging, and standardized metadata schemas.
Step 2: This is where you come in.
We're looking for the visionary partners who can fund or build this with us.
Philanthropists, archival engineers, digital humanities pioneers, and tech builders.
If you're obsessed with where our history is headed, not just where it's been—we want to talk!

Modern agriculture often asks:
How much can the land produce?
Vaidika agriculture asks a deeper question:
How can human beings receive from the land while protecting ṛta, the balance of life?
Perhaps the future of farming is not only technological.
It is civilizational.
1952 :: Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru specifically proposed to Union Health Minister Amrit Kaur that India should observe Children's Day on November 14, his birthday, each year.

Is Rakshabandhan patriarchal, misogynist and sexist?
Can only sisters tie Rakhis around their brother’s wrist? Is a Rakhi tied for the protection of the sister or the brother? Watch this video to find out.
Despite all the DF glazing, I've never liked this provincial man. Why does the state need to mandate on languages a service provider needs to know? If an auto-driver doesn't know Marathi, it's his loss in terms of loss of customers. Such mandates only encourage language zealots.
@venkinesis Very well said.
Also, in those 48 years, the state of fertilizer response, input costs, etc all are impacted severely.
BTW, if the farm loan waiers are added to this calculations, how does the statistics change?
There is a paradox in large infrastructure planning: the state measures loss through land titles, houses and formal records, while affected communities experience loss through livelihoods, relationships, ecological access, identity and intergenerational security.
ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

If we need the world to come to Bharat not because degrees are cheaper here but something unique is available, then research in IKS is crucial.
"Handled well, the study of IKS can strengthen rather than diminish the prestige of IITs. It can generate distinctive research ... which are required in the modern context"
Here's a video of different games that are played:

Unfortunately, such games and activities are on decline but many are trying to revive it too.
This is exactly the contradiction at the heart of it. The same lopsided incentive runs through pesticides - going by the Indian National Academy of Sciences, nearly 60% of the ones we register are extremely hazardous and make up about 80% of what we actually spray, yet the subsidies keep flowing to the inputs that created the problem. We have built an economic machine around the cheaper, more harmful option, then act surprised by the health bill that follows.
@Hariraj_Rathod@charu_dob Absolutely.
4 years ago (Nexon 2021), afyer fast charging till 90%, saw drop from 60% to 10% and had to tow. Raised a complaint, till date no substantial root cause-fix, but just a workaround - while fast charging always charge to 100%.
Bṛhat is delighted to share the call for papers for the Oxford Dharma Conference 2026.
The Oxford Dharma Centre for Research and Policy is advancing important conversations on the relevance of Dharma to public policy, jurisprudence, leadership, and institutional practice.
This aligns closely with Bṛhat's commitment to exploring the intersections of civilization, governance, statecraft, and societal transformation.
Our association with the Oxford Dharma community spans previous editions of the conference, as well as our collaboration as a Knowledge Partner for the Mahā Kumbha Mela Study Trip 2025. We are therefore pleased to support this initiative and share it with our network.
The conference invites interdisciplinary contributions exploring Dharma as a framework for examining ethics, governance, social order, and civilizational continuity in the contemporary world.
We encourage scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students across disciplines to consider submitting their work and contributing to this important conversation.
