- Figure has officially announced OPEN (On-chain Public Equity Network) on Provenance, allowing companies to list public equity natively on blockchain, rather than as tokenized DTCC securities.

- Param launched Cryptoagg[.]io, a Crypto Card Aggregator, allowing users to compare crypto payment cards across multiple providers, including Kast, Tria, Etherfi Cash, Avici Money, Coinbase, and Binance

- Boundless launched zk upgrade for OP-stack rollups, cutting finality to minutes. The release enables rollups to reduce finality from seven days to 24 hours using zk fault proofs, or to minutes with full validity proofs

- ethPandaOps analyzed the Ethereum mainnet blob data following the activation of the BPO forks, which increased the blob target, and observed that validator head vote percentages declined as blob usage rose. However, the analysis shows the degradation is not caused by higher blob counts themselves, but by proposer timing strategies.

But to be a widely-adopted and useful alternative to permissioned fiat payment rails, Bitcoin has to be on a level playing field from a tax perspective.
