Military owned channel MRTV announced that 23 protesters were SENTENCED TO DEATH with penal code 396. We live in a country where rapists aren't charged with death penalty yet, PROTESTING FOR DEMOCRACY is charged with DEATH PENALTY.

Myanmar's internet shutdown will return to 0100-0900, according to a reliable source. It will be the 25th consecutive night of no internet connection. As to why the military is ordering a return to the slightly longer shutdown is unknown. It is a directive with no explanation.

How inhumane the way the police forces treat a civilian who didn’t do anything wrong, but was just watching what was happening out there by stopping his motorbike in Mandalay #Myanmar. We pay tax not to be treated by the police like this.
