We love @CollegeGameDay. We appreciate @ESPN and the many talented personalities who have helped make college football what it is today. We've enjoyed and cherished being invited to be part of the production, and we are forever grateful for being part of the best college football show in the nation.
But let's get something straight.
For @PatMcAfeeShow to allude to the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University while complaining about a few University of Utah students making harmless jokes about him is not just an overreaction. It's an outrageous false equivalency, deeply inappropriate, and frankly, an astonishing display of self-importance.
Charlie Kirk's assassination was a GENIUNE American tragedy. It deserves respect and should never be invoked to suggest that college students poking fun at a television personality somehow represent a threat to his personal safety.
Getting offended because a college kid said that he would say something corny, is not a security emergency, Pat.
And to cast doubt on the University of Utah's ability to provide a safe environment because a few students bruised your ego is insulting to our university, our administration, our law enforcement professionals, our community, and the thousands of wonderful fans who welcomed College GameDay to Salt Lake City. All who have worked tirelessly to bring this show to Salt Lake City since 2004.
Let's also remember something.
Utah was winning football games, building a nationally respected program, and creating an incredible college football atmosphere long before Pat McAfee joined College GameDay.
We appreciate the exposure, but our university, our football program, and our fans do not need the approval of one television personality to validate what we've built.
We respect Pat's success. We respect his right to express his opinions. We simply expect the same courtesy for our students, our University, our staff and administration.
And when your entire entertainment career is built around loud opinions, jokes, and making fun of others, perhaps being on the receiving end of a little harmless college humor shouldn't require a national television grievance session.
"Thank you, guys. I’ll never see you again, hopefully.." - Pat McAfee
Pat, you're welcome at Utah. But we don't need you to make Utah great. It already is.
If you don't want to come back here, to our great university, city, and state, don't. We were fine before you, and we'll be fine long after you've faded into obscurity.
Respectfully, and with only a minute amount of sarcasm, the Pig Bus crew.
Go Utes!
With all this Mcafee controversy I just want to say I loved Utah. Granted this was before I became Provo Dave but I loved it. Crowd was great. Fans were great. Id go back in a heartbeat with Barstool Football Show.
I haven't even been publicly trans for 72 hours and I'm already getting so much hate.
I just want to hoop with my girls in my feminine era! Why can't y'all be happy for me? 💅🏽
Ok so here’s how it works
Dads with daughters: Women’s restroom.
Moms with daughters: Women’s restroom.
Dads with sons: Men’s restrooms.
Mothers with sons: Women’s restroom.
Hope that helps.
With the kids out of school for summer this mother found a really neat way to help the kids cool off and be creative at the same time. How cool is this?
@fasc1nate In HS some friends took me here to check out the caves. I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into. Once inside it was terrifying. Single file, no room to wiggle, and I was very thin. I was trying so hard to stay calm but freaking, once out I said never again. This poor guy.
We have frozen all child care payments to the state of Minnesota.
You have probably read the serious allegations that the state of Minnesota has funneled millions of taxpayer dollars to fraudulent daycares across Minnesota over the past decade.
Today we have taken three actions against the blatant fraud that appears to be rampant in Minnesota and across the country:
1. I have activated our defend the spend system for all ACF payments. Starting today, all ACF payments across America will require a justification and a receipt or photo evidence before we send money to a state.
2. Alex Adams and I have identified the individuals in @nickshirleyy's excellent work. I have demanded from @GovTimWalz a comprehensive audit of these centers. This includes attendance records, licenses, complaints, investigations, and inspections.
3. We have launched a dedicated fraud-reporting hotline and email address at https://t.co/rqjoFUD3kZ Whether you are a parent, provider, or member of the general public, we want to hear from you.
We have turned off the money spigot and we are finding the fraud.

SNAP should be like WIC.
It should cover specific items only- chicken, turkey, ground beef, pork, fish, milk, eggs, fruit, veggies (canned or fresh), OJ, bread, flour, sugar, corn meal, etc.
Healthy cooking ingredients.
No soda. No chips. No snack cakes.
