This week Tesla is unveiling the Roadster on 10/15, and I'll be attending the event live.
I've believed in this car for years… the 2017 reveal blew my mind.
Now I get to see what's next in person.
I think this is going to be the greatest product unveil ever.
LFG Tesla! 🔥
This is exactly the kind of moment Tesla’s Self-Driving system has to handle in the real world. The Tesla is traveling about 33 mph when a white car suddenly cuts across its path, and the vehicle brakes hard enough to bring the car to a complete stop before a collision.
The driver says the other vehicle made an illegal U-turn and ran the stop sign, but the footage clearly shows the sudden move and emergency braking. Would you trust Tesla’s system to react faster than you could in a moment like this?
“Tesla hate is so forced”
Oskana is out there going full passenger princess with Grok getting her the arrival weather report.
Imagine going back to a regular car after that.

OMG… the Tesla Roadster unveil is in TWO DAYS, and the weather is looking good.
The Tesla team is really going for it.
It honestly blows my mind that they could top what they unveiled on November 16, 2017. That Roadster already looked like the future to me. Nearly nine years later, I’m sitting here trying to imagine what they’ve built that makes that car look like just the starting point.
This is the same excitement I felt for the first iPhone and the original Model 3 unveils… just wondering whether I’m about to see something that completely changes your idea of what’s possible.
I have a feeling this is going to be a major smackdown to gas luxury sports cars. I really don’t get this feeling often… I am so stoked for this event.
AI vision concept vs. production reality the aggressive silhouette looks insane, but Tesla’s minimalist original line still hits different. Which one are you driving? ⚡🏎️
The new Tesla Roadster already looks like it came from the future. This AI edit takes real reveal footage and changes the headlights and rear to imagine an even more aggressive version.
It is not an official Tesla design, but it raises an interesting question. Would you want the production Roadster to look like this, or is the original design better?

Stating today everyone can now access their Grok bots through their Teslas. This was previously not opened up to super grok users or premium plus X subscribers.
CYBERTRUCK OWNERS
Cybertruck owners are reporting basically zero battery degradation after thousands of miles.
One California owner (Stephen) put 5,160 miles on his $59k base model in about two months after mid-August delivery. He charges to 80% (260 miles) every other night and hits 100% (325 miles) about once a week — almost all at home. Still showing full range, zero loss according to him. He even compared it favorably to his previous Model S, which had dropped more at similar early mileage.
Other owners on the same forum thread are in the same ballpark: one with ~7,800 miles over two years and zero loss, another at 23k with no major issues noted, and higher-mileage examples (including towing/cold weather) in the low single-digit percent range after tens of thousands of miles.
This matches the pattern on most Teslas — early “degradation” is often just BMS calibration or temporary, and it stabilizes. The packs that lose more tend to be the ones living on Superchargers. Home charging still wins. Data is early, but the “batteries are fragile” FUD isn’t matching what a lot of actual owners are seeing so far.
