@offerup Gor an error message when I submitted my return address for a shipping label. Now there is no option to re-request the label, but it isn’t showing up in my email. Please help.

[Sandy Monzon @sandymonzonSD]

@austinflack Lol. I get it.

[Sandy Monzon @sandymonzonSD]

@austinflack We just watched it. I liked it. Wasn’t expecting anything amazing. And I thought Ali’s acting was good. It’s pretty normal for a stand up’s humor to be toned down in a movie. I also appreciated that the man left his home to follow the woman he loved.

Trying a podcast unit with my Ss for the first time. First steps=discussing production elements and structures of various podcasts. Then, kids brainstormed and pitched their best topic ideas to one another. Thx @npr & @NYTimesLearning #syhs #SUHSD

[Sandy Monzon @sandymonzonSD]

@APLit_Teacher @gosynth @ncte I am just starting a podcast unit with my 9th graders for the first time. They are creating podcast episodes. @NPR and @NYTimesLearning have excellent resources and lesson plans. NYT also has a student podcast contest = real-life audience!

[Sandy Monzon @sandymonzonSD]

@MelAlterSmith @ncte Awesome! Can’t wait to take a look. Thank you!!

Toying w/ idea of a mini-unit on podcasting with my 9th graders. Any recs for engaging, appropriate podcasts for this age group? Ss would then create their own simple podcasts. Share tips on this, too, if you have them! Ty for your ideas! @ncte #NCTEvillage

[Sandy Monzon @sandymonzonSD]

Please consider supporting my students’ project to help provide a community in Ecuador with clean water for life!

[San Ysidro High @SanYsidroHigh]

WE Club is working to raise $1,000 in an effort to provide a well to a rural community in Ecuador. This well would mean access to clean water for life for an entire community.
