In college, if I had $300 in my bank account, I was elated. Now, we have nearly $100k cash in our emergency fund, yet it doesn’t seem “enough”. What’s wrong with this mindset?
@jjeffrose No need to prove you wrong, because I agree with you. 😂 I would only consider it if the interest earned on my assets could cover the monthly payment. But even with that said, I’ve conditioned my brain enough to not allow myself to do that.
We have no idea:
- what the market will do next
- where interest rates are going
- how the Fed will react
- when the next recession will hit
Neither does anyone.
@your_money_blog Yes! We started a new business, and purchased four more rental units. Also in the process of acquiring our first flip, and have made a TON of awesome connections with people. This year far exceeded our expectations.
@themotleyfool Marrying my wife. Seriously. My net worth has 10x since getting married. Not because she had crazy amounts of cash. But her and I together, we’re crushing it in real estate. She gives me focus and purpose.
