Party leaders however are protected from having to face voters directly as we don’t vote for them. It is disappointing that @PierrePoilievre hasn’t been there.

CBC (and other major outlets including CTV, The Globe and Mail, and Toronto Star) is sticking to Liberal MPs Shaun Chen’s original statement about health issues from a late-2025 car accident limiting Ottawa travel as the reason for his resignation

None have addressed or questioned the WeChat videos/posts shared by Andy Lee showing Chen was in Guangdong, China, as recently as ~2 weeks earlier (and in March 2026 with CCP-linked broadcasters).

Claims also allege he may have voted remotely from China on a House of Commons vote (e.g., electronic vote on Bill C-9 around March 23, 2026), which would conflict with rules requiring MPs to vote from inside Canada

@ctvottawa This is what happens when you lay a rail bed in an area that is a natural river. Anyone who’s been caught on the 417 driving west between Moodie & Eagleson during a rainstorm knows how rain water flows. Did this rail company not look at the topography & study water runoff?
