Awalnya, diskusi ini muncul setelah Heo Namjun memenangkan penghargaan Special Award di SBS berkat perannya sebagai Cha Segye di My Royal Nemesis. Menurut sebagian Knetz, porsi cerita dan penampilan Lim Jiyeon jauh lebih dominan, sehingga mereka mempertanyakan mengapa justru hanya aktor pria yang mendapat penghargaan.

OP juga menyinggung drama Perfect Crown. Saat drama tersebut menuai kontroversi terkait distorsi sejarah, IU justru menjadi pihak yang paling banyak menerima kritik dan komentar jahat.

🗣️ Sharp minds often overthink; yet many describe Yang Zi as having a "clear-sighted" or "perceptive" nature. One wonders if this clarity is tinged with a sense of resignation or a feeling of having "no other choice."

Yang Zi: "You’re the first person to put it that way—really. People often say I’m perceptive or level-headed, but I feel like I only became that way because I had no other choice.
I grew up in the spotlight; people watched me mature. By the time I was in junior high and high school, I had already starred in *Home with Kids* and was somewhat famous at school. You realize you’ve become a bit of an outlier—someone 'different'—so you tread very carefully because you don't want people to speak ill of you.
That’s why, whenever I saw people approaching in any setting, I’d offer a friendly smile and try to greet them; I was terrified of being misunderstood.
In my twenties, perhaps out of insecurity and a desire to be liked, I would go out of my way to please others—trying to make them happy and make them laugh.
As I grew older, there were times I felt a deep sense of pity for my younger self. I’d wonder why I felt compelled to play the peacemaker or the 'clown.' I really did think that way sometimes.
But the situation is what it is; dwelling on it serves no purpose. It’s better to simply cultivate that clear-sightedness.
Ultimately, that kind of clarity and level-headedness comes when you face a situation where you have no other option—you force yourself to shift your perspective and change your mindset."
