Alhaji Aliko Dangote appeared on Channels TV and insisted that Nigeria needs to urgently invest in power infrastructure to achieve true economic independence. In layman terms, he's wailing about lack of electricity.
You can be sure of one thing: both the Nigerian government and local investors won't do anything about this call.
Then eventually Aliko Dangote will find his way around building power grids that guarantee 24/7 electricity to consumers. Suddenly, you will start seeing all sorts of patriots from Ministry of Power, NLC, TUC, DISCOS, GENCOs, NEPA, PHCN, Nitel, Mtel, Econet, PTF, Celtel and even APC, ADC and PDP coming on air to educate you on the dangers of a monopolist like Dangote! ~ Ibrahiym A. BREAKING: Senate amends Electoral Act, presiding officers to transmit election results electronically to the IREV portal. BUT, if electronic transmission fails due to network issues, the manual result sheet would be adopted.

So many unforced errors in the game, yet it takes a home filled stadium with biased match officials and 11 Moroccon players to have a phyrric victory against Nigeria.

A large percentage of iPhones circulating in Nigeria are actually refurbished devices rather than counterfeit ones. These are genuine Apple products that were previously used, returned, or slightly damaged, and have undergone repairs or component replacements to restore them to full working condition.
After the refurbishment process, which may include changing the screen, battery, or casing to make them look brand new, these phones are reintroduced into the market and often sold as new units. Many buyers, unaware of the difference, assume they are purchasing brand-new devices when in fact they are getting professionally restored iPhones that still function effectively, but are not fresh from the factory.
It’s practically impossible to get a brand new iPhone from the iPhone X up to the iPhone 15 Pro Max directly from Apple in Nigeria. Apple does not have an official retail store or authorized sales outlet in the country, which means that all iPhones available in the Nigerian market are imported through third-party vendors.
Most of these devices, though often advertised as “new,” are actually refurbished units that have been restored to look and function like brand-new phones. These refurbished iPhones usually come from countries like the U.S., U.K., or Dubai, where they were previously owned, traded in, or returned for repairs before being resold.
So while the phones may appear new and perform well, they are not factory-fresh from Apple. Essentially, the Nigerian market is dominated by refurbished Apple products rather than brand-new devices sourced directly from the company.
Ibn Qudamah Al-Maqdisi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “Whenever you see that your heart is not present in salah (while praying), then know it is caused by the weakness of Iman. Therefore, strive to strengthen it (by doing as much righteous deeds as possible).” Mukhtasar minhaaj
